pete and pete

Yesterday, after our morning services at VL, Hollie and I headed to Nashville to meet up with some new friends for dinner - after attending their 6p service.

We met Pete and Brandi Wilson through blogging and emails.  They planted Cross Point Community Church almost 6 years ago and after being there last night, I understand why it is going so well.  It was awesome to just be able to go to church and experience freedom, worship, challenge, and a kindred spirit of heart and vision!

I enjoyed hanging out with them - and Pete is the man!  (that feels kind of good to say - even though I was talking about the other Pete…)  Anyway - here’s Pete and Pete (weird thing - we both have same middle name too…)

[…] Pete is a pastor that has the same first and middle name as me. He and his wonderful wife Hollie visited Cross Point Sunday night and then we went out for dinner. I think Pete may be my long lost brother. […]
